The Wall Street Journal is a U.S. business-focused, English-language international daily newspaper based in New York City. The Journal, along with its Asian and European editions, is published six days a week by Dow Jones & Company, a division of News Corp.
Weekend section of The Wall Street Journal allowed the most creativity where the entire page was dedicated to an illustration or infographic to the main story. Similar to illustrations, the art director would sketch or compose a design and the imaging specialist would complete the finish design. Most times copy would start on this page and the need for clever text space was needed.
